Lyons Boys Basketball: Two big wins
The Lyons boys won two big road games, both upsets, to climb up in the standings heading into the final week of the regular season. At Dayspring on Friday versus a 10-4 Eagles team, a shorthanded Lyons team earned a hard-fought 55-51 victory. What made this win special were contributions from unlikely sources.
Lyons Basketball: Senior night for girls and boys hoops
The Lyons girls and boys basketball teams hosted a doubleheader with Twin Peaks Charter School for senior night on Tuesday. The girls were up first, and treated another good-sized home crowd to a 46-21 win. Regular starters for the Lions, Alora Cross and Hannah Paton, welcomed fellow senior Estella Percarpio to the starting lineup. The three have all been in the program for all four years, contributing to winning seasons at every level.
