Gardening at Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens

June 20 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday, repeating until October 31, 2021

Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens

Goals for 2021:  The Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens has three times a week “work sessions” April to October. Last year all the tough weeding was done, so this year should be not only easier, but very rewarding! Last year’s plantings should start putting on a good show soon. Lots of tasks needed to keep things going; volunteers are welcome.

Gardening Sessions:

When: 9 to 11 a.m., meeting Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays throughout the season.

What to Bring: Wear sturdy shoes, hat, gloves and sunscreen. Bring basic tools and water. Continue to stay safe by wearing masks and keeping 6 feet apart. Sessions cancelled if weather is inclement.

Located along the north side of St. Vrain River, just after the Bohn Park pedestrian bridge, between 4th and 5th. Limited parking in alley, just past Prospect. Or park along 5th.
