An Evening with Creative Nonfiction Author Sarah Adleman

 Friends of the Lyons Regional Library will host an online book reading and discussion with author Sarah Adleman on Thursday, January 14 at 7 p.m. in partnership with Colorado Humanities through the Colorado Center for the Book Speakers Bureau.

Adleman was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bangladesh, studied yoga in India, and taught English in China; earned MFA. Her first book, The Lampblack Blue of Memory: My Mother Echoes (Tolsun Books, 2019), was a Colorado Book Award finalist, won a Nautilus Book Award in Lyric Prose/Hybrid Works, an IPPY Award in Essay, was a finalist for the NIEA in Death & Dying, and a winner for the Eric Hoffer/da Vinci Eye Award.
