LCF=Lyons Community Foundation = We exist to improve the quality of life, build a culture of giving, and create positive change in the greater Lyons area. LCF raises funds to make grants for programs and organizations that address the unique needs of the Lyons community. Applications are due in September and granted in October (approximate dates)

Lyons Prepared is a community group of volunteer neighbors, for disaster preparedness

Lyons Police Department

If you want to see a deputy for consultation or to place a report in person, call the dispatcher phone number (303) 441-4444 and someone will soon meet you at the station. There is a deputy on patrol in Lyons at all times 24/7 (four deputies). Effective 1/23 POLICE CHIEF Cody Sears: normal working hours during the week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8a.m. – 630p.m. == For more information about Lyons Police Department, click this LINK. == For information about Lyons Co-Responder, click this LINK. === The Town of Lyons has an Ordinance Violation Officer who you can report incidents to.

Mental Health Partners, Colorado is Boulder and Broomfield Counties’ behavioral health center,  serving our community for over 50 years. —  Their main office is in Longmont; but the  24/7/365 Walk-In Center at 3180 Airport Road in Boulder for immediate help with a mental health crisis. == If you think you need mental health or addiction recovery services, call the main line at (303)-443-8500 www.mhpcolorado.org

The country-wide CRISIS hotline/emergencies is now in effect: 988 = for Americans in crisis to connect with suicide prevention and mental health crisis counselors. (bypass calling 911 or the police)  ===  receive instant access to a trained person who can help you… talk with you… find you a professional near you… and more.

Lyons now has a co-responder (mental health) who will come out with the Police, if you need help. Ask for one when you call 9-1-1.
