Memorial and celebration of life, Priscilla Cohan, obituary
Priscilla Cohan
This is a very brief summary of Priscilla’s life in Lyons.
She was a pottery artist, who had her own kiln in her back yard. Priscilla was also: a painter, sculptor, graphic designer, theater stage set designer, window and art display designer (Boulder Arts and Crafts Coop). She also wrote grants for community art projects in Lyons.
She lived in a house at the Confluence, and during the Flood of 2013, she was a great help to all her neighbors who were also devastated by the flood waters.
She volunteered at the Lyons Redstone Museum. And, recently, she was part time staff at the Town of Lyons, acting as liaison to the History Preservation Commission, as well as being the Cultural Arts Coordinator.
If you have any other important highlights to add, please write LyonsRecorder.Editor@gmail.com
We have not been reached by the family with a formal Obituary. Nor, have we found one online.
Her brother, Larry Cohan, was also living part time in the Confluence, and exhibited his art work in town. He did an extensive collection of art on the 2013 Flood’s devastation. He is deceased.
