===UPDATE: US Hwy 36 – from Boulder to Lyons
This is mainly an expansion of roads to allow for bike lanes — A week after issuing a statement that the project will be done in August, they have now notified us that it will not be done till the end of September.
NOTE: We asked Jared Fiel, CDOT communications, when it would hit LYONS, and Apple Valley Road, and he replied: “Work in that area is anticipated to be completed late September as well.”
“Also, every week the team updates the specific lane closures for this route to be reflected on the online interactive map at https://maps.cotrip.org/. If you access this website and click Boulder as your starting point and Lyons as your end city you can see the specific locations/roads where work is occurring as part of this project as well as the start and end times for that week.
“The team also updates the lane closures, work times and specific mile markers where work is occurring on the project’s hotline every Monday for that week. The number is 720-770-8178.“

The owners of the proposed new hotel on Main St. gave a report to the Town Board of Trustees in July.
