LEAF seeking input from public on services offered by new therapist

Thanks to grants through the Opioid Abatement Fund and Boulder County’s ARPA Funding, LEAF has hired an additional mental health therapist to help meet the strong demand for addiction/substance abuse and mental health services in the community.
Megan Kram LCSW, LAC is a Lyons local who comes to us with a wealth of experience and dedication to serving our community. Megan will begin supporting substance abuse and addiction recovery, youth work, groups, and individual therapy. She is joined by her canine partner, Callie, who is a therapy dog. Megan joins our Mental Wellness & Addiction Recovery Program Director, Cherie Maureaux, LPC. We could not be more thrilled and proud to have Megan on our team!
As our Mental Wellness & Addiction Recovery team gears up to serve well and meet needs, Megan and Cherie are hosting two “Share & Tell” sessions in the coming weeks. The first is set for Thursday, July 27 from 1-2:30p.m. in the Community Room at Lyons Public Library. The second is scheduled for Thursday, August 3 from 7-8:30p.m. and will also meet in the Community Room at the library.
Adults and teens are encouraged to attend these opportunities to connect with LEAF’s mental health team through this casual opportunity. Learn more about mental health and addiction, and the services LEAF offers. Share your thoughts and ideas with Cherie and Megan. This is your chance to have a say in the programs and services we provide. We’ll have light snacks … and a therapy dog to pet, too. Questions? Email mentalwellness@leaflyons.org.
