Thor’s Pet Store looking for new owner

Letter to Editor,

I just wanted to let you know that we will be closing Thor’s Pet Palace by the end of July. It was an extremely hard decision to make since we put so much time, energy, and money into. However, with the unplanned ‘new family’ circumstances, our priorities have changed. If anyone wants to take over the business, then we are willing to help to keep it alive.

For now, we will be having a going-out-of-business sale where everything is 50% off. We have also had to downsize, so our new hours are 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Sunday.

SOME BUSINESS DETAILS:
The store opened to the public in April 2023.

To sign a lease — they would have to qualify (deal with the landlord)

To become Owner of the Business — They could run it themselves or hire staff. It has made enough to pay the rent and utilities,  but not enough to pay employees yet.

Current Owner is willing to help educate them in running the pet store, and wildlife.

The store focuses on live lizards and birds; but also carries high quality food and accessories for all types of pets; and habitat structures.

Cost: We could owner finance on the inventory — since the business is so new, we would only ask for payment on the inventory.
