July 14-16 – Started in 2016, Snowy Grass Music Festival is as much about enjoying music as it is participating. The festival, which takes place at Stanley Park in Estes Park, includes workshops for aspiring banjo and fiddle players, as well as beginner lessons in jamming. Performers include Becky Buller Band, Special Consensus, Molsky’s Mountain Drifters. Find tickets (starting at $58 for single-day, $98 for two days, and $130 for three days) and more information at snowygrass.com/2023.

Stop by the Stephen H. Hart Research Center for assistance with your research journey. Attend our introductory program at 10:15 am to learn more about the History Colorado Collection, and stay afterwards to work on your own research project.

July 29, 7 p.m. – Opera in the Park 2023 at the Boulder Bandshell, (July 30th raindate)– scenes from Wagner’s iconic Der Ring. We invite you and your audience to join us for a spellbinding night of music featuring gods, giants, dwarfs, water maidens and Valkyries at the foot of our majestic Flatirons. Music lovers of all ages will appreciate Wagner as the original “Wall of Sound.” tickets .
