Three Lyons businesses moving

Pharr Out Designs
Pharr Out Designs used old whiskey barrel wood for their chairs, as well as skis for the slats in the chairs. They also created beautiful unique pieces such as dining tables, pub tables, whiskey and wine barrel fire pits. The furniture also included interior rocking chairs, barn doors, live edge tables, bars, and much more. All was handcrafted in their studio. Much had metal accents, and State of Colorado flags. They were located in the strip of buildings at the intersection of Hwy 36 and 66 (technically Longmont). They moved the first week of April, about 8 minutes away, still in Longmont.
Jacob Pharr says: “Moving to my girlfriend’s farm. Building a shop. Spirit Hound is becoming my new working showroom. They will basically have everything I offer, but in use. You can also see the furniture at Low Rider (the new store in the gas station building in Hygiene). The Farm will be by appointment only.” They had some great bargains on furniture during their final week. We wish Jacob much success!

Stillwater Clinic & Apothecary (Holistic Family Healthcare)
The much loved clinic will be closing out of its historic building on High Street, and moving to Sara Hart’s farm. It was founded in 2011. www.stillwaterhealingarts.com 303-823-WELL (9355)
Sara Hart says: Stillwater closed the retail apothecary and has moved to an office space on our farm on Apple Valley. Here we have been running our farm business, Hart Family Farm since 2014. With this move we will have the opportunity to incorporate more of the healing work we do with the natural world. I am expanding the herbal medicine cultivation by bringing these resources together on our farm and my husband James Hart is growing his equine therapy program with our horse herd along with integrating wilderness therapy with his counseling.
The retail aspect was transitioned last December. I am looking for opportunities to sell the Stillwater herbal formulas (teas, tinctures and mouthwash blends) in other retail environments. My patients will continue to receive custom herbal formulas and have appointments at the farm as of May 1st. This is the link to our dispensary: https://us.fullscript.com/welcome/stillwater-clinic
I look forward to resuming my qigong with the horse herd classes and natural medicine educational opportunities this summer. Meanwhile I stay very busy as a integrative medicine doctor treating people with complex chronic disease, supporting cardiovascular health and treating auto-immune conditions, anxiety/depression and hormone balance. This summer we will be offering a summer camp.

Moxie’s Mercantile, Lyons
It didn’t take long for Moxie’s coffee, pastries, and meals to become popular among Lyons residents. They added some quality music performances, and got a liquor license. They will be moving out of their current location on Main Street to 442 High Street, which is the old location for The Stone Cup coffee shop. Their current location will be demolish this fall to make way for a new hotel. They hope to have a Grand Opening on May 1st, but might be open and selling products sooner than that date. There are a few social groups in town who are now meeting there on a weekly basis, such as a knitting group. They will retain their liquor license.
According to the manager Scott: Moxie will be moving into one half of the old Stone Cup space, and another restaurant will be in the other half. We are planning our grand opening for May 1st. There will be music and festivities to celebrate on the day of the opening. We may have a “soft opening” before May 1st, but that will not be openly publicized.
“We will not be changing our operations, however we are updating the space and making it feel like Moxie. We are thoroughly looking forward to being a part of this town in an exciting new chapter, and can’t wait to get open. We are sure that everyone will love it.”
