Poet’s Corner: Cycle of Life (National Poetry Month)

Cycle of Life
Fading grey to green, pushing forth
Nostrils drinking moist, pungent air
fragrant awakening season mysteriously changing, bulging out
time lapse photography blooming
Scientific but obtuse, rendering us to surrender to the forces of nature
Humble to a cycle of life we can-not control, as efforts to extinguish them persist
Resistant, resilient, awe-inspiring rebirth annually
Like a salmon swimming upstream, sustainable natural processes
Moments in time that create seasons to grow, cultivate, recreate, relax
Cherish
Photosynthesis, vitamin D stoked rejuvenation – post winter hibernation
Tulip bulbs, robin’s eggs, pussy willow blooms, green grass, river runoff
Sunshine
All necessary
to be
