Christopher (Chris) Michael Ward, obituary
Christopher (Chris) Michael Ward, aged 55, passed away peacefully in the arms of his beloved husband of 8 years, Tory Wentworth Ward, on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
Christopher was the son of Earl (a/k/a Shorty) and Pauline Ward.
Chris was an amazing software developer who loved playing video games, hiking, being with his pups, and being a wonderful husband. He always enjoyed baking and cooking for friends and loved watching Broncos games.
A lifelong Lyons resident, Chris was a graduate of Lyons High School Class of ‘85. Chris worked for the Town of Lyons in his youth. Then for 24 years at Baseline Mocon, Lyons. He enjoyed baking at The Stone Cup for 5 years. More recently, for 3 years, he was a friendly face behind the counter at Circle K, where he enjoyed the customers and his co-workers.
Chris’s memorial will take place on the first nice day of spring in the Lyons Community Gardens. Notification will be via the Lyons Happenings Facebook page.
