Mailbox: misdiagnose of cervical cancer (C C Awareness Month) Get tested

Warrior!
Stage 2b 6-Year Cervical Cancer Survivor
Cervical Cancer Awareness Month,
I am a 52 year old woman and I am here to tell you this, if you have a vagina you still need to be going to your doctor and getting your Pap and HPV tests done! More and more women think because they had surgeries down there that they do not need to go BUT I am here to tell you that you still need to!
I am raising awareness more this month because it is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and after what myself and so many more women have went through with cancer it is very important that women know. I did not know anything about HPV or Cervical Cancer my whole life and I was diagnosed at 46. I did not go to the doctor on a regular basis, I never had a HPV test done, and I always thought It can never happen to me.
WELL, let me tell you it happens to women everyday and it does not care who you are. So ladies I am saying to this to you Please make an appointment and get tested if you have not already been. I have added my link to my story to better give you an idea!
