Annual BBQ and Season Home Game Opener

It’s a Lyons Tradition to go to Lyons Middle/High School Opening Football Home game, and start off with a social BBQ burger or hot dog event… all for just $6 (food and game). People say that it was the biggest attendance in years! The setting sun seemed to be celebrating the event too, with a brilliant blaze of colors.

This season the coaches are: head coach, Jason Yantzer, and assistant coach, Ryan Bant-Cogburn. Officer/Coach Rosey got a surprise honor during half-time. He elected to stay home and coach our boys instead of attending his induction ceremony into the University of Wyoming Football Hall of Fame. Such an honor!
