Rocky Mt Botanic Gardens tour and sales
The Rocky Mountain Botanic Gardens invites you to join us the morning of Saturday, September 10, 2022, 9 a.m. – 12 noon, for an open house with a public tour, plant shopping, garden advice, and generally enjoying the gardens as a community.
Garden director Garima Fairfax and volunteers will be on hand to talk plants and show visitors around all morning. Formal tour will start at 10 a.m. focusing on late-season blooms and wacky seed pods. Tour is free, and visiting the gardens is always free.
We will be selling t-shirts and a small selection of Colorado-native perennial wildflower plants – plant now for more color and happy pollinators next year. (There is also a “Free Library” stand to browse)
The RMBG (www.rmbg.org) is located near the corner of 4th Ave and Prospect St. in Lyons. Cross over the bridge on Hwy. 7 to the south side of Lyons. Park on the street and walk in on the Bohn Park access path.
