Strolling around Planet Bluegrass, RockyFest 2021
RockyGrass Festival is held at the Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, Colorado. Visiting musicians rave about the location, with its wooded banks, sandstone mountains, and cool, rapid St. Vrain River. For 49 years, the small festival has attracted some of the best known bluegrass and newgrass musicians from around the country, with multiple Grammy winners performing. This year, the performers in the Tribute to Tony Rice alone had 22 Grammys among them.
The RockyGrass festival is known as one of the best traditional bluegrass festivals in the country. Locals can walk to the grounds, and spend the day with family or friends, and return to their homes to refresh for the next day.
