Contact these restaurants in Lyons for more information about music, and fun activities like Trivia, Karaoke, Casino, and more being offered this summer — as they are able to hire more staff, more things will be added — The Stone Cup, Mojo Taqueria, Pizza Bar 66, A-Lodge Lyons (coming soon), Oskar Blues Bar and Grill and Main Stage Brewing.

Tuesday and Thursday – 12:15 p.m. – Boulder County Aging serves a boxed lunch to-go at the Lyons Senior Center (Lyons seniors, ages 65 and up). You must call the day before by 1 p.m. to place an order (303) 441-1415.
Wednesdays – 3 to 5 p.m. – Food Pantry for those in need. Contact LEAF for more information.
SENIOR EXERCISE – 9 a.m. – Tuesday “exercise” and Thursday ”walks,” using the Lyons Parks. Free. For Lyons seniors 55+ Contact Lramsey@townoflyons.com On Tuesdays we’ll do some circuit training in the park, alternating aerobics and exercises with small hand weights or bands. On Thursdays we’ll head off from the park for about 30 minutes of walking. Both classes end at the park with some yoga and gentle stretching. Participants may park at Bohn free of charge during the class.

July 22 – HENNA SuperFandom for Teens, Lyons Library — 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Library friends from Face Fiesta will cover henna basics, including science, safety, and history, combined with design tips and instruction for creating pop culture-inspired designs—everything from Studio Ghibli, to narwhals and unicats! This class will involve fun, hands-on drawing for whatever you happen to be a super-fan of! Supplies will be provided. To register, click HERE.

August 4, 3-4p.m. “Return to Normal, hesitancy” As the COVID-19 Pandemic transitions into a new phase, vaccine distribution, many people are facing new questions and stressors associated with living in a partially-vaccinated world and moving beyond the Covid-cautious habits we’ve picked up during the pandemic. In this presentation, we will discuss (and normalize!) return to normal hesitancy, and discuss positive ways to cope with this new pandemic reaction. The Sunrise Stampede 5K is a family-oriented run/walk that has raised $250,000+ for student programs in the St. Vrain Valley School District. All net proceeds support Teacher Innovation Grants for students with special needs. These grants are awarded to teachers who have innovative ideas to enhance learning for students. Help us continue a community tradition and support our students.====In 2021=== will be a 5K run/walk with a 1 mile fun run. === will also be offering a virtual race for those who want to participate, but are out of state or not able to join us the day of the race.
