Get a hole in one: donate or play at the Lyons’ Lions Club Annual Golf Tournament

Have a glorious day on a golf course, and at the same time donate money to benefit people in Lyons, through the Lyons Lions Club!
The annual Golf Tournament is Monday, August 2, 2021, at Lake Valley Golf Club and it is their 27th annual event. It is their only fundraiser!
SPONSORS & PRIZES:
See flier below for all the contests going on. The teen volunteer LEO club will be running the putting contest.
Cemex has already committed to be the Event Sponsor =and= WeeCasa, Tucker Group Realty, Gateway Realty and Atlas Flooring are co-sponsoring the Leos Putting Contest. We always set aside $200 for the player who wins the putting contest. If there is a tie, then they split the $200 pot.
Pine View Properties (Mark Webber) real estate company, sponsors all the par 3s, where there are big prizes for a Hole-in-one including a car from Mike Maroone Ford in Longmont on the 16th Hole. The other Par 3’s have golf clubs, a Vegas trip and golf apparel (no extra cost to players)
Hurdles Jewelers in Boulder provides an elite watch every year (retail value about $1,500) to the winner of that drawing.==If you buy a chance to enter the drawing, you can win 5 times the money you “bet” if your tee shot ends up within a circle around the cup on the green. Every player who enters that contest gets an entry into the drawing for one person to win a luxury watch.
Prizes range from golf equipment to concert tickets (Bluegrass Festival, Scottish Festival) to dinners at area restaurants to golf apparel to gift baskets (Oskar Blues gives us beer 6-packs and gift baskets) to jewelry, etc.
TROPHIES:
Since it is a fundraiser, we only give our trophies to the winning and 2nd place teams (all four players on each team). They get to keep them permanently! Congrats!
HOLE SPONSORS NEEDED:
Although they have received monies for hole sponsors, there are more still available == as well as Ace, Eagle and Birdie sponsorships, which gets you banner and advertising exposure of FaceBook and other social media.
There will be an Event Sponsor Banner for Cemex, a Leo’s Putting Contest banner for that event, and two “group” banners for all larger sponsors that will be displayed in town during July.
Hole sponsors ($100) get a personalized sign that is displayed on a particular hole. We generally have 3-4 hole sponsor signs on each hole.
TEAMS:
Cost is $120 a player. There is room for 128 players (32 teams), but it’s filling up fast. The Lions have only been promoting the event since June 1st and they already have 52 players signed up.
Your entry fee covers 18 holes of play, a cart, range balls to hit before the start of the golf, one putt in the putting contest, lunch and possibility of winning door prizes. Each player also receives a “goodie bag” that has golf balls and various other small gifts like phone chargers, cooling towels, hand sanitizer, etc.
