Movin’ on Up… 5th grade graduation plans

GRADUATION: Students 5th grade graduation ceremony is at 2 p.m. Parents cannot attend due to COVID-19 precautions, but can watch online. The parade begins at 3 p.m. — see schedule below and parade information–

The 5th grade students are having a parade this Friday, May 21, to celebrate their graduation into Middle School.

Their last stop is in front of the high school building where staff will be waving them “congrats!” The students usually have a chance to visit the “middle/high school building” in spring to acquaint them with the structure, including lockers, rooms/seating, rest rooms, office, and more. Because of COVID-19 restrictions this has not happened. It is hoped that the staff at both schools can arrange for this in August before classes begin.

Please feel free to gather in crowds along this parade path to cheer on the kids as they move into their teen years at a new building! Note, this is a good opportunity for you to get out those “cow bells” and ring them!
