Thanks to those who gave the program to Honor Martin Luther King on Monday at 1 pm, in front of the Lyons Community Church; About 50 attended, with Rev. Emily Hagan in charge; Ian Brighton and family, Mayor Nick Angelo, and Mark Boys. They posted a “stop racism” banner. Very Moving!

Senior meals furnished by Boulder County Aging for $3.00 can be picked up at the Senior Center each Wednesday and Friday from 11:30-12:30. Call 303 441 1415 the day ahead. (ages 65 and up)
The River Church is again serving Monday night suppers in boxes from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in front of the Senior Center, for those who need it.

SCHOOLS resumed Wednesday, Jan 6th: Office hours of M\Sr High is 8:00a.m. to 3:00 pm. Phone 303 823 6631; Attendance (x45608) Registrar (x45609) Call Angela Rittenhouse, Attendance Clerk, 720 494 3844, if you will miss school. Students may go in person next week.
St. Vrain Valley, Boulder Valley, and Adams County schools are furnishing a free meal to all children under 18 years of age thru December, with curbside pickup from 11 to 12:30 pm, Monday- Friday.
REQUIREMENTS – Parents are to upgrade the Immunizations of their students. go to Richelle Brown, Health Clerk 303 823 6631. Students may go back in person in January.

SYMPATHY: We are saddened at the death of Richard Roe son of Dick and Judy Roe; brother to Gloria and Roby. He lived in Berthoud during the winter months and worked in Alaska during the summer. He graduated with the Lyons High Class of 1967. He is survived by his children Richard Roe, Kerri Gudmundsson, and Tawna Duncan, and his Brother Robert Roe of Dacona; and by 12 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; and is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Judy Roe, his wife, Connie Poe, and sister Gloria Simpson. A graveside service will be held at the Lyons Cemetery this Monday, January 25th at l:00 p.m.
