December 1-31: Decorate the Community Christmas Tree in LaVern M Johnson Park, bring a string and an ornament.
December 15 – January 4. VOTE ONLINE – CHRISTMAS LIGHTS CONTEST: The Chamber and the Town of Lyons have a contest going on for who has the best Christmas lights decorations on their home or business. December 21, Monday, 5-5:30 p.m. FREE SUPPER. Need a warm, home-cooked meal? The River Church is reviving its free Monday night supper (in a box). Stop by the Walt Self Senior Center to pick it up. (this date may need to be confirmed due to it being Christmas week 303-823-6469)
December 21 to January 6 – No School, Winter Break, Lyons SVVSD
December 25th – Merry Christmas !
December 24 & 25 – Christmas Church Services – and special events during December — go to our “Churches” page for locations, days and times.
December 25 — Christmas closings:
Christmas Day: Boulder County offices – Post Office – Library
BOTH Christmas Eve day and Christmas day = Larimer County AND Town of Lyons offices will be closed
December 26 – start of Kwanzaa celebration!
