The Lyons Farmette dinners are still slated to run July 7 through September 22, timed just right for summer freshness. Seasoned chefs from select regional restaurants design exceptional farm-to-table menus using organic, locally sourced food. These delightful under-the-stars dining experiences also double as a fundraisers for an array of community and non-profit organizations.
“We know these are unprecedented crazy times and it’s in times like these that we need more love, more community, and more celebrating. We are all practicing social distancing now so that we can enjoy more of one another soon,” says Grant Hamil, the farm’s field manager, beekeeper, and owner of the Farmette’s affiliate floral business, Plume & Furrow.

These popular annual events sell out quickly. If dinners cannot be hosted because of COVID-19, guests will be fully reimbursed. Register soon to reserve your spot and help support local chefs, bartenders, farm employees, and non-profits. This working organic farm, started here in Lyons by owners Betsy Burton and Mike Whipp, also boasts a community-centric education center and two wedding venues.
Farmette owner Betsy Burton reminds, “The Lyons Farmette is a private residence and event venue. We are not open to the public, but would love for you to join us soon for one of our classes or farm dinners.”
