The next Lyons Arts and Humanities Commission (LAHC) Town Hall Art Show, “Plein Air – Bringing The Outdoors In,” will likely be be corona-postponed, but now is a great time to be working on entries for this previously announced Call to Artists.
Artwork ‘depicting all things outdoors’ is the show’s theme. Work can be created outside or inside and is open to all ages, abilities, interpretations, and mediums. Collage, photography, poems, prose, paintings, prints, wall mosaics, fabric art, and most everything else are welcome. Working on up to five ready-to-wall-hang pieces is definitely a quarantine-appropriate endeavor.

Sally White King’s solo show, entitled “Bearable Light,” is the second in the LAHC’s Lyons Regional Library Art Show series, and will probably also be delayed. King is a local painter and sculptor largely known and celebrated for her iconic bear imagery.
In the meantime, if any local caterer, restaurant, or musician is interested in sharing their talents at a future LAHC event, please contact the LAHC chair, Lauren Click, at laurenmclick@gmail.com.
